Birmingham City Schools Partners in Education

The Birmingham City Schools Partners In Education program builds sustainable partnerships among students, volunteers, schools, and local organizations, all with one goal: to provide the children in Birmingham City Schools with the tools necessary to become better learners.  Our school volunteer program recruits, trains, and places volunteers to work with students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, primarily during the school day.  Partners In Education's role as a link between schools and the community is crucial as we work together to improve the quality of education for the city's students. If you are interested in knowing more about the Partners In Education program, please contact Adrienne Mitchell at 205.231.4750, akmitchell@bhamcityschools.org.
