The mission of the Birmingham City Schools Athletic Department is to advance the Birmingham City Schools mission by promoting sportsmanship and providing the student/athlete organized and structured athletic activities that will help develop social and leadership skills, provide a spirit of pride, promote lifetime physical well being, and create a feeling of self worth.
